As a new faculty, Iğdır University Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences aims to provide higher education service at national and international academic standarts by adhering to modern and national values, as well as to raise graduates who can keep up with the rapidly globalizing world and its economic structure, carry Turkey to the future and make the right decisions. The importance of higher education in the world and in our country is an indisputable fact. Our faculty also start education and training activities with this awareness. In this direciton, department of economics, busiess administration, finance, international relations, banking and finance, political science and public administration have been opened in our faculty. Our faculty aims to further strengthen its young and experienced academiz staff and to shape the content of the courses according to the needs of the age.
Tha fact that our university is bordered by Azerbaijan,Iran and Armenia gives us a great advantage.Our faculty will develop close relations with these countires in the future, and universities in these countries will create student exchange programs, sı that our student will see different universities and meet different cultures.
Our graduates; Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Labor, Public and Private Banks, Supreme Board, Undersecretariat of Treasury, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Undersecretariat of Customs, Universities, Court of Accounts, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Justice, Prime Ministry, Private Sector Firms both in Turkey and abroad, Audit Institutions, They take part in instutuions such as the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, Social Security Institutions, and the State Planning Organization.In addition, our graduates can work as independent accountants and financial advisors or work as academicians at universities.
