About the Department
The Department of Political Science and International Relations was founded in 2012-2013 academic year. The main mission of the department is to raise qualified and cultured individuals with a good background in the field of international relations. In this context, it is aimed to teach our students in the department; a) the political, socio-economic and cultural developments in the world, b) the international system and the international actors influencing this system and c) the behavior of these actors. Our students will have a scientific basis with an analytical perspective in the context of the political and socio-economic developments and globalization process in the world.
Education
The duration of education in the Department of Political Science and International Relations is four years. The main philosophy of the department’s undergraduate program is providing an education that will raise individuals who have a broad vision in the field of social sciences, can think analytically and critically, understand and interpret social and political phenomena and processes.
Potential Career Paths After Graduation
Students studying in the Department of Political Sciences International Relations have a wide range of employment opportunities when they graduate. Our graduates can be candidates for specialist, auditor, administrative judge and inspector positions in various state institutions. However, they can also apply for a profession at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
