Iğdır University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration started its activities in 2013 and made its first student admission in the 2015-2016 academic year.
Education
The undergraduate education period of the Department of Business Administration is 4 years. The first two years of the program consist of background courses that will help students understand basic business issues. In the third and fourth years, courses on management and organization, accounting and finance, production management and marketing, which are the main areas of business administration, are given.
The main aim of the Department of Business Administration is to provide its students with up-to-date and well-founded theoretical and applied knowledge and skills in the field of business. Depending on this purpose, graduates can quickly and effectively learn the skills needed in business life such as leadership, management, team building, communication, and sales management, and find jobs in a wide range of industries, commerce and service sectors that suit their wishes and abilities; In addition, they are willing to learn, have a goal of continuous improvement, can look at events and their environment from a micro and macro perspective, can keep up with change, are open to innovations, can work interdisciplinary, have advanced problem-solving skills, have universal values and their own culture, as well as modernity, management knowledge and skills and leadership skills.
